As promised here is a sneak for Monday nights 1st August class.
Lots of fun techniques! You don't need to know what a spellbinder is to come along to this class. If you have some lurking in your stash, you will get lots of inspiration to go home and use them. As some of you would already know, my friend Gail had her beautiful baby boy last week. Of course I had to make here a card.
Absolutely no stamping on this one! I just layered up some patterned papers and stitched them together. The frame behind the baby is a Hambly rub on. After rubbing it onto a patterned paper scrap I cut it out roughly and applied a little Antique Linen Distress Ink. That cute flower is an old Basic Grey one. I distressed all my letter stickers by placing them on a plastic sheet and sanding them slightly. To age them further I applied a little of the Antique Linen Distress Ink. Once I was happy with the look I simply peeled them off the plastic sheet and added them to my project.

Just a quick share of some simple cards I made over the weekend.
This one is pretty self explanatory. A cute card made by layering a few fun patterned papers, a pretty Prima flower and some letter stickers.
This is a card I made for my grandparents wedding anniversary. Again layers of patterned paper, but this time I added a Kaiser wood frame and topped it with a Basic Grey chipboard sticker.

There is something so satisfying when a class is all prepared and kits finished. It means I can get excited because the rest is all the fun stuff. These little beauties are for a special event today, and I just can't wait to get into it! Hope the girls all love it!

Sorry the photo is not that great. Poor light at this time of the morning. These are some quick thank you cards I made the other day. Very simple, I took a sheet of paper (I think it was creative imaginations) cut it up, mounted it on a piece of pink card that was die cut using a spellbinder die and added a paper rose.
To add a little sparkle to the rose I used a little iridescent medium (I think I'm addicted to this stuff). Seriously If you don't have some race out and get some! I know you can get it at DaisyChain Scrapbooks
O.K. I must run off now have to get ready for some serious dress shopping today. And Christine if you are reading this I finished the employee payment summaries first :) I got my priorities sorted :)
